Privacy notice

Last updated: September 17, 2026. This describes the current public prototype.

Your name, practice balance, plan and journal stay in this browser’s local storage. They aren’t sent to a RATTLE account database or synced to another device. Your theme preference is saved here too. Anyone using the same browser profile can access them.

The hosted news service reads public publisher feeds. When AI headline notes are switched on, a headline and its public reference are sent to Google’s Gemini API, and the notes are cached on the server and shared between visitors. Your profile, balance, journal and plan are never part of a news request and are never sent to an AI provider. The status line above the stories says whether notes are currently on. The hosting provider receives normal connection information, such as your IP address and the pages you request, and may keep operational and security logs.

The homepage loads its video and background image from CloudFront. The media host receives normal connection information such as your IP address, but no journal or profile data. You can pause the video; that choice lasts for this browser tab session. Reduced-motion settings stop automatic playback.

Charts load from TradingView only when you choose to load them. TradingView receives the selected symbol and normal connection information, such as your IP address, but not your journal or balance. TradingView and its providers may use cookies or tracking under their own policies.

RATTLE itself has no analytics, advertising cookies or password system. Opening a news link takes you to a publisher’s site, where its privacy policy applies. Contact messages use your email app and provider, and share whatever you include.

You can export your journal from Portfolio. To remove your profiles and preferences, clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Different web addresses keep separate browser data: records from a local preview will not automatically appear here. Before a commercial launch, this notice needs legal review and the operator’s details and applicable rights. Contact etaaroinquiries@gmail.com with privacy questions.
